These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of SolidNetics — a cloud-based engineering simulation platform developed by Perisim, LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using SolidNetics, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the platform.

01 Acceptance of Terms

By using SolidNetics, you agree to these Terms, which form a binding legal agreement between you and Perisim, LLC. If you access SolidNetics on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" refers to both you individually and that organization.

02 Service Description

SolidNetics is a cloud-based simulation platform organized into two modules:

  • Core Module — classical and AI-driven solid-mechanics solvers: stress analysis with FEA and physics-informed neural networks (PINN), fracture and impact with peridynamics (PD), topology optimization, unit-cell homogenization, and thermal analysis.
  • AM Module — additive-manufacturing workflow tools: PathWeaver (scan-path generation), FusionCore (high-fidelity meso-scale thermal simulation), FusionMap (internal surrogate-training engine), GrainPath (microstructure prediction), StressForge (part-scale distortion and residual stress), and CertifyAM (quality reporting).

You can upload 3D geometry (STEP, STL, IGES, OBJ), define materials and boundary conditions, generate meshes, run simulations, and visualize results through a web interface backed by AWS infrastructure.

2.1 Beta & Early-Access Features

Some features may be offered as Beta or Early Access. Treat them as evaluation-only.

For any Beta or Early-Access feature, you understand and agree that:

  • The feature may contain bugs, change without notice, or be removed.
  • Service interruptions or instability may occur.
  • Beta features must not be relied upon for production decisions, certification, or safety-critical analysis.
  • Your feedback on these features may be used to improve the platform.

03 User Responsibilities

3.1 Registration

You may need to register and create an account to use certain features. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use SolidNetics for illegal or unauthorized purposes, or to design or simulate systems whose use would violate applicable export-control or weapons regulations.
  • Upload files that infringe on intellectual property or contain malicious content.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
  • Disrupt the integrity or performance of SolidNetics, or attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, mirror, or systematically download content beyond ordinary use.

04 Subscription Plans

SolidNetics is offered through multiple tiers:

  • Basic (Free): Limited solver access and compute quotas for evaluation and small projects.
  • Pro: Expanded solver access, larger compute quotas, and full Core Module access.
  • Enterprise: Full Core and AM Module access, including PathWeaver, GrainPath, StressForge, and CertifyAM; priority support; SSO and custom infrastructure options.

Plan availability, features, and pricing are described on the Pricing page and are subject to change. Continued access to paid features requires a valid, current subscription.

05 Data Handling & File Usage

  • You retain ownership of all files (STEP, STL, IGES, OBJ, JSON calibration packages, etc.) you upload to SolidNetics.
  • We process your data solely to operate the analyses you request and to improve service performance.
  • We do not share your engineering data with third parties or use it for advertising.
  • Files are stored and processed on encrypted, US-based AWS infrastructure.
  • See our Privacy Policy for full data-handling practices.

06 Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to your uploaded data, geometries, and simulation results. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process, analyze, and display your content within the platform solely to provide the services to you.

6.2 Our Content

All intellectual property in SolidNetics — including the algorithms, PINN and surrogate models, AM solvers, user interface, backend architecture, and branding — belongs to Perisim, LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the platform without prior written permission.

07 AWS & Cloud Services

SolidNetics runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, including EC2, AWS Batch, S3, and managed database services. By using SolidNetics, you acknowledge that your use is also subject to AWS's acceptable-use policies and that some compute workloads may be scheduled on AWS Batch with associated billable resource usage.

08 Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • Your subscription lapses or a payment fails.
  • We are required to do so by law or due to security concerns.

You may delete your account at any time from the user profile or by contacting support. Upon termination, the licenses granted to you under these Terms end, but provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) will remain in effect.

09 Disclaimers

Simulation results are predictions, not certifications. Always validate critical results against experimental data or independent analysis before making engineering decisions.

SolidNetics is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy or completeness of simulation results, surrogate predictions, or AI-generated outputs.
  • Continuous or error-free operation of the platform.
  • That your data will never be lost or corrupted, though we apply strict security and durability measures.
  • Fitness for any particular regulatory, certification, or production purpose unless explicitly stated in writing.

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use.
  • Business interruption.
  • Errors in simulation results, surrogate predictions, or service availability.

Our aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any legal disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
